ERC Amsterdam presents: Amici Consort

ERC Amsterdam is delighted to welcome Amici Consort.

Join us for a wonderful concert by string ensemble Amici Consort, led by Alexander van Eerdewijk.

Germany, Finland and the Czech Republic. Three completely different countries culturally, but all with essential contributions to the history of music. As sunny and playful as Telemann's concerto for oboe d'amore will initially light up the English Reformed Church, so Sibelius' Romanze will suddenly cast a chilly shadow through the windows. The highest word belongs to the elusive Janacek, who displays unprecedented expression in six compact and highly varied movements. In this way, an hour of music just flies by!
