Diana Botelho Vieira was born in 1984 on the island of São Miguel, Azores. She has performed in piano recitals, chamber music and with orchestra in various countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, England, the United States of America and South America. She has won the Prize for Young Musicians (RDP – Antena 2) in the Piano category, and also received the Búzio Revelação (Expresso das 9) and the Culture Prize (Correio dos Açores). She has participated in the documentaries Bravo and Portuguese around the world: Chicago.
