Dear Friends,

I was so happy to hear the Consistory read out 'the call' last Sunday. The Church of Scotland has given permission to the English Reformed Church to call a minister. It will be exciting to move forward as a congregation, and I wish you the very best as you embark on the formal search process.

My own time with you is drawing to a close. I will leave Amsterdam on 7th February, meaning that I will have two more Sunday Services with you. I am delighted that the remaining services will include a baptism and communion. Both are significant for the life of the Church - as the body of Christ, and people of God - and it is good that we can celebrate together.
