Greetings to you at the end of another week. I hope you have had a good week and kept safe.
A couple of things for your attention:
Firstly, good news: we have a new website! Huge thanks to Jessica Bell and Ferry Haris in particular – along with others – who have made this possible by a lot of hard work. The website is something of a work in progress but is ready enough to be accessed now. You can do this either through the ‘We have a new website’ section on the old website (which will continue to function for a while), or, if you want to access it directly, through this link: https://www.erc.amsterdam .
Because the old website is still functioning as well as the new, you will be able to join the service this Sunday by various routes: see below in the weekly programme.
Secondly, you may recall that the wonderful Carols by Candlelight service on Christmas Eve included an offering for the Mulanje Mission Hospital in Malawi which our church supports. I am delighted to say that the amount collected for the hospital through the service was 6,155.82 + 217.82 euros that was raised by a little Christmas story that I and my daughter produced, making a grand total of 6,373.64 euros. Thanks to all who contributed. And don’t forget that on this coming Sunday, being the 1st Sunday of the month, we have a collection for the hospital – best to contribute through the old website for now. Note too that it is a Communion service.

Prayer:
In this time there may be people who feel especially in need of prayer either for themselves or for someone else. There is a small group of people in the congregation who take it in turns on Sundays to be available after the service to pray for anyone in need - so, if you would like prayer or have a a particular prayer request please contact Margaret Richards on margaretanne_richards@hotmail.com and she and the others will pray accordingly.
A word about finance….
Please note that in this period when we are not meeting together there is a way of giving to the church on the website.
Being Communion Sunday, the first Sunday of the month, there will be a collection for the Mulanje Mission Hospital. Donations can be made through the website.
