Dear Friends,

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the Lord’s House.”

And now we are here! - Psalm 122 v 1-2

My wife Adrienne and I arrived in your beautiful city yesterday afternoon to brilliant sunshine and a warm welcome from Heleen.

We are now comfortably settled in the manse, with everything we require and I’m sure we will be very happy here.

It will be good to celebrate Communion together on Sunday and to meet many of you after the service.

I am a Minister in the Church of Scotland and served at St. Andrew’s Lhanbryd & Urquhart and at Aberdeen: Northfield. We now live in the village of St. Boswells in the Scottish Borders and for the past four months I have been Locum Minister in Selkirk. We have three grown-up children and six grandchildren and hope to have some of them visit us over the summer.

It is a great pleasure for me to serve as your Locum Minister and I look forward to leading you in worship and getting to know you.
I pray that God will richly bless our time with you, as we enjoy fellowship together and grow in our faith.

Rev. Scott Guy

(Locum minister)
